Banish Nuisance Numbers

Called saying my name and that they are from Admiral. I’m not with admiral for anything. First question date of birth. Which I refused to give. I then asked what it is regarding. He said you device, I said what device. He said he couldn’t say with out verification of who I am. Bye then. Scam job

This is clearly a scam, I was called by someone claiming to be from Admiral and she claimed very vaguely that there had been an accident and where was the vehicle, she proceeded to ask for a list of my personal details. It all sounded quite odd so I asked her to tell me my vehicle's registration or the one involved in the 'accident' at which point I was left on hold and I hung up. I do not have a policy with Admiral so I called the Admiral Insurance claims team to give them my vehicle registra

Received a text message and a voice message claiming to be from Admiral that my vehicle had been involved in an incident. Immediately questioned this as I had not received an email regarding this, nor did my Admiral account display any incident. Rang Admiral's number from their website to check if they were trying to reach me and they weren't. Really concerning scam as I have previous text messages from them stating my policy number and links to their website. Don't be fooled!

This number is NOT LISTED UNDER ADMIRAL BUSINESS NUMBERS. Got a call at 18: 17 claiming to be admiral and that there is a discrepancy in my policy. Automatically I asked why I have not recieved an email or post letter. He ask me to confirm my details. I told him to wait so I can check this number online under scam calls. He was quick to tell me he will email to confirm it's not a scam call...I have not received an email. And have called admiral and this number is NOT LISTED under their busines

30/3/21 - Weird call, Said from Admirals insurance, Said about combining my house and car insurance, But then said my car wasn't the type that it was, Then said the car they were talking about was registered to a different person at my address, So I said who, They said could disclose, So I said how are you going to combine the insurances then? They said they would take that other person's car off their list if it has been scrapped (I didn't say anything about that car only that type of car wasn'

I always check numbers on sites like this, I think they are a god send. Makes you wonder if the people who are saying this is Admiral insurance are just scammers, Especially when other people have checked with Admirals direct telephone number and they have confirmed this is a scam number. The last two weeks I must of had 12 or 13 different numbers trying to get hold of me. I never answer any caller, If someone wants to talk to me then why not leave a message.

Definitely genuine. Admiral GROUP. So you may have another company such as Gladiator insurance. Just ask and they can confirm I'm sure. You are always entitled to ask them for some of YOUR details to prove they are who they say they are.

Claiming to be from diamond insurance saying my registration given on an early nine form doesn’t match policy registration. Did the renewal over phone and been with them for 2 years so surely my details would be correct on their database. The number I’m told to call back on doesn’t match numbers on the diamond website. I believe it’s a believable scam but I will be calling diamond in the morning to see what is going on as it doesn’t make sense. Will update to say if it was legitimate or a scam.

Caller said she was from Admiral, She said I had an insurance policy with them, Mentioned 1 car but not the two others on the policy. She then wanted my address which I gave, Then my date of birth. I pointed out she should have that information and I was not happy giving any of my details. I told her I was terminating the call. Considering she (Admiral?) initiated the call I don't see why it should be me proving my identity. She certainly didn't prove her identity.

Had a call today claiming to be Admiral but don't think so as they would know I have changed to another of their sister companies. Person was trying to potentially up-sell further cover suggesting that in an accident there would be no replacement vehicle cover and that only applies when in for a service! I think if I had gone along with this they may have taken money and other details and presumably fraudulently. BEWARE!

So far not answered the call. They called me 13 times yesterday and so far 8 times today. I’m about to report them if this carries on.
